I’ve always wanted to be an ancient sage sitting at the city gates, observing life and sharing wisdom. Although modernized wisdom may have been replaced by google or Wikipedia, the ancient walls are still here, only now invisible as we all travel this highway called the internet.
So who am I and why should you rest awhile here? I’m an INTJ. I’m headed toward a parenting breakdown a maturing one on the Enneagram. I’m an Innovator with an equal Builder profile. I’m a writer. I’m a clinical psychologist. I’m a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. I’m a mother of three, two of which live on earth. I’m a wife. I’m a friend. I’m a follower of Christ. I’m a country girl living in the city.
“My whole is much greater than my parts.” I love weightlifting, yoga, backpacking, cycling, reading, nature, good food, good company, small towns, and vacations. I’ve been much too serious for most of my life.
This blog is a reflection of my transformation…Of my letting go of that critical self that keeps me from exploring new things. Of finally letting creativity in and being energized by it. Of living fiercely.
Welcome. May you feel safe here.
